Jesus Walks to Galilee
Gospel According to John4.1-6.
"Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard, "Jesus is making and baptizing more disciples than John -although it was not Jesus himself but his disciples who baptized- he left Judea and stared back to Galilee. But he had to go through Samaria. So he came to a Samaritan city called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob had given to his son Joseph,Jacob's well was there and Jesus , tired out by his journey , was sitting by the well.It was about noon."
Here we find Jesus in the nature of a weak human being, who is doubtful and weak hearted as to his mission and will.He is easily moved by the adverse criticism of others. On the criticism of Pharisees Jesus decided to quit Judea and decided to go to Galilee. Can we find fault with Jesu?No we cannot because sometimes we have to accept the criticism of others and change our actions.Again Jesu does not come across the critics he cleverly avoids a confrontation with them.
We find Jesu tired and resting by the well.Tiredness and incapacitation are part of life. Our body require rest just as we are to examine the condition of our mind or soul.Rest replenishes the body.Examination of the mind overcomes the nativities that have crept into it.
