Jesus amidst the busy life


Gospel According to John 5;13-15

Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was , for Jesus had disappeared in the crowd that was there.Later Jesus found him in the temple and said to him ,"See you have been made well .Do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.The man went away told Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.

Here we find Jesus disappearing from the crowd.It really happens in our life.Simply Jesus has disappeared from the humanity after the resurrection.We no longer see or find Jesus.We believe Jesus has ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.Well thatis the creed that we profess everyday and that is the eternal teaching according to the plan of Salvation.But Jesus is with us today, this moment, this place and in this situation.Unfortunately we are blind to His presence.Our spiritual darkness prevent us from seeing Him anymore.We have to open our hearts to Him.Jesus will slowly manifest to us.It is an experience , a divine moment in our life.True God's presence is rare in our life.If we sincerely earn for Him.We will get.

Overcoming Casual tendencies

Gospel According to John 5.2-5 "Now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate there is a pool, called in Hebrew Bethzaitha,which has five porticoes.In these lay many invalids-blind,lame and paralyzed.One man was there who was ill for thirty eight years." Here we find a man who has been ill and suffering for so many years.What could be the reason for this?A man suffering alone and uncared by none for so may years!It is really surprising for a man who leads a fast and hectic life.There are two ways to see this incident.One is that we conveniently and negligently ignore our own state.To say the least we are pathetically casual and lazy in certain crucial matters of our life.We just don't care and we pull on.This is a major fault that we are committing in the eyes of God.Some do not care about their health, some about their education, some about their near and dear ones and some about God and church services.This callous way of doing things make us a pathetic human being.We have to find...

Jesus Heals

Gospel According to John 5.6-7 "When Jesu saw him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him , "Do you want to be made well?" The sick man answered him ," Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I am making my way , some one else steps down ahead of me."
